Abstract

This article aims to analyze the structural and institutional dimensions of the learning environment of Business Adminisration teaching in the perception of professors who participated in the creation of Business Administration undergraduate courses in the Northeast Region of Brazil. The methodological approach was   qualitative, using interviews with professors from public institutions in search of the meaning about this environment in the region surveyed. The results indicate the presence of elements involving the positioning of universities, Business Administration dimensions, student profiles and the relationship between curriculum and the teaching action. The study revealed that structural and institutional aspects of the learning environment influence the quality of the teaching-learning process for the Business Administration student of the Brazilian Northeast.
