Abstract

The objective of this essay is to reflect on the differences between the expectations of stricto sensu graduate students in Management in Brazil and the proposition offered to them by Graduate Studies Programs, in light of CAPES evaluations. After all, do graduate students in Management in Brazil want the same thing that their programs and CAPES want for them? In our view, there is a misalignment between expectation and reality and, therefore, we point out propositions to minimize this apparent misalignment.
