The application of teaching cases emerges as a promising method, capable of shortening distances between the classroom and organizational reality. In the Brazilian context, the use of the case method is still recent and faces barriers that impede its dissemination. Despite the growth in the number of teaching cases published nationally, there is still a gap between the publication and the actual application of the case in the classroom. Among recommendations to deepen knowledge about the application of cases for teaching, there is the call to carry out research that articulates the voice of two actors: the teacher and the manager of Higher Education Institutions. In this sense, this study investigates the teacher's perspective on the application of cases for teaching, and asks: What is the impact of Individual Innovativeness (of the teacher) on Learning Outcomes, considering the context of application of cases for teaching in Administration? For this, a survey with 100 teachers from different regions of the country was used. The data were treated using structural equations modeling and the results indicate that, from the teacher's perspective, their individual innovativeness, in the context of applying cases for teaching, positively influences the students' learning outcomes.
