Entrepreneurial orientation in the curricula of brazilian public graduate programs
Keywords:
Entrepreneurial Orientation, Graduate Programs, Active Teaching MethodologiesAbstract
This article aims to identify elements of entrepreneurial orientation in the curricula and teaching practices of Graduate Programs in Administration (PPGAs). It adopts a qualitative approach, using semi-structured interviews with faculty members and coordinators from four Brazilian public PPGAs, in addition to the analysis of courses and syllabi. The results indicate the presence of content related to entrepreneurship, strategy, and innovation, including topics such as open innovation and design thinking. A growing integration between innovation and teaching is observed, with an emphasis on active methodologies and practices aimed at developing transferable skills, despite existing institutional barriers to pedagogical improvement
